I was assigned within a week and a half to work on an animated type specimen project for the Dynamic Typography class this Spring quarter 2021. The goal for the project is to use the key characters on a specific typeface as information for the animation. From scratch to the final animation, my role for the project was illustrator, animator, and motion designer.

The legendary sans serif design developed by Edward Johnston for the London Underground System in 1916, is now available as a commercial font in an exclusive arrangement with the London Transport Museum. The font, as well as the all=caps bold version, is true to the original design, plus full international characters are also included. The Extras feature graphic elements inspired by the design motifs of items including maps, tile patterns, and seat covers. This design has been expanded as P22 Underground Full Set.
