This is my motion poetry piece: Orpheus I did for my Cinematography and Editing motion media class this quarter. It is an experimental project; Therefore the content is based on the footage I got when I was filming that day. There was no storyboarding. My theme concerns the Greek hero Orpheus' wife, Eurydice, who was killed by a snakebite. Orpheus set out to bring her back from the Underground. However, he couldn't, and she left him alone in the end. I wanted the work to be elegant and romantic over grief even though the work sounds sad, and to immerse the audience in my work is the project's goal.
