I named Neo-Noir: Tabemono Alley for the series. I’ve been curious about the Neo-Noir style for a while and think it’s a good opportunity to explore its color lighting and object arrangement. Most of the representation of Neo-Noir style film showcase the Japanese neon signs pop cultures, and the narrow alley with the shops at the nightlife. Since fake food models are part of Japan’s representation, I decided to combine them with the theme. I combined the giant food models with each representative store and the style of Neo-Noir, hope it somehow shows the busy but classy nightlife. I used Photoshop for post-editing.
