I was assigned to model and duplicate a movie scene in a few weeks as a Maya modeling, shading, and lighting project for the 3D Effects class this quarter. I chose the lobby scene from the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) by Wes Anderson. The visual goal for the project is to pursue photorealism in most visual effects work in the industry. I modeled everything from scratch and did the lighting, shading, and texturing in Arnold renderer of Maya software with no post-editing involved. I also shared a few different angles of view/wireframe modes and the reference image.

Tool: Maya, Arnold Renderer
Dimension: 3072 * 1728 px
